The Freshman List
We know you've been anxiously awaiting this year's Freshman List and it's finally here! Only this time, we are doing things a little different. The Kenyan hip hop scene is overflowing with amazing talent and we just don't think that one list, every year, with five artists is going to cut it anymore. We want to make sure that you guys are really hearing these kids making fire and dropping hits on the regular.
That being said, this is how we are going to be doing the Freshman List this time around. Every week we'll have a playlist curated by Corine and Jinx with five up and coming artists on Mookh Music that will be featured on Mookh Mag. You get to vote for your favorite artists on both Mookh's and Homeboyz' social media platforms. At the end of the week, the artist with the most votes will head on over to Homeboyz Radio for an interview on The Jump Off. At the end of every month, the four winning artists will be the headlining acts at the The Freshman's gig at a location to be determined. We'll keep the weekly playlists coming until some time next year when all winning acts will come together for an All Star show!
